How do I apply to a program?
There are three simple ways to apply:
1. Complete the online application available at our website
2. Download a printable application from the web site and submit the completed application by email or fax as instructed on the application
3. Request an application form by email at

There is no fee for applying to any of AIT Extension's programs.
What are your admissions requirements?
To ensure a rich learning experience, admission to our programs is selective and based on professional achievement and organizational responsibility. Hence, most programs require participants to have a university degree, relevant work experience, and a good command of English language.
How long does it take to process my application?
For most programs, the Admissions Committee begins reviewing applications one month prior to the program start date. Once the review process has begun, applicants are notified via email regarding Admissions Committee decisions within three weeks.

What do I need to process my visa?
Offer Letter will be given to the participants. Please fill up and file and application in the respective country for the visa. Please file up in advance since the procedure may take a maximum of one month and varies from country to country.
What is included in the tuition fee?
The program fee includes tuition; course materials; field trips; airport transfers and minor medical insurance. Food, accommodation and incidentals, such as dry cleaning, entertainment, phone bills are not included in the program fee.
When is payment due?
Payment is due 30 days prior to the start of the Program.
What types of payment are accepted?
Payment can be made by check, international bank draft or by electronic bank wire transfer. Please forward your organization's check, payable to Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), along with your invoice. Information regarding the payment detail is hereunder:

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations or deferrals must be submitted in writing more than 30 days before the program start date to receive a full refund. Cancellations or deferrals received on later dates are subject to a cancellation fee of equivalent to 15% of the training fee.
Is financial aid available?
Financial assistance is not available for any of the training programs.
How are the accommodations set up - at what price?
Participants live on campus in AIT Conference Center Hotel (AITCC). At AITCC, there are more than 100 guest rooms (suites, superior and standard rooms) together with a selection of dining and other eating or drinking venues. To enhance learning and stimulate collaboration, these facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art multimedia equipment.
Individual bedrooms include a private bath and standard amenities, as well as, 24 hr free high-speed Internet access. In addition, wireless Internet is available at most of the AITCC facilities.
Tentative room rates at AITCC are:

Are participants required to live on campus?
All training programs are residential, and participants are expected to live on AIT campus.
Should I bring my laptop?
Every training room is equipped with a desk tops and a high-speed Internet access, which you can use during all program assignments. However, each private room also has wired Internet access if you choose to bring your own laptop.
What can I expect on the first day?
On the opening day of your program, registration takes place in your training hall. Most programs will have an opening ceremony and lunch / dinner function that same afternoon / evening. If your travel plans necessitate late arrival, please be sure to notify us so that alternate registration arrangements can be made for you.
What can I expect on the last day?
Most programs adjourn in the late afternoon of the final day followed by a closing ceremony (awarding certificates). Transport service to Suvarnabhumi International Airport is provided to the participants accordingly.
Are meals provided?
For meals the charge should be borne by the participants. The dining facility is available at AITCC which is adjacent to the residence block.
If the participants wish they can also explore the food from student cafeteria or golf club restaurant available inside the campus premises.
Are special meals available?
Participants with special dietary requirements are asked to contact us upon their arrival. For Muslim participants Halal food is available at the AITCC dining facility and student cafeteria.
Are accommodations available for extended visits or for family members?
Accommodations are not available on campus for early arrival, late departure, or family members. You may reserve a room at one of several hotels close to the AIT campus. AIT Extension staff can be contacted for assistance.
What is the typical attire for the participants during a program?
Business casual attire is requested for classes and meals in the AITCC dining facility during your program. Since dress codes and terminology vary widely amongst organizations and countries, here are a few examples of what is considered business casual attire:
• Open-necked, collared shirts or blouses
• Khakis or other pressed pants
• Leather or casual walking shoes
