Eligibility

Participants in SAF Consultancy training courses are usually mid-career and senior level professionals with at least five years’ relevant work experience. Participants normally have a university degree, work experience, and a good command of English language.

Training Costs

The training fee covers tuition, materials, transportation costs for scheduled field trips, and minor medical expenses. The following personal expenses should be added: a suggested subsistence allowance US$30/day, accommodation at US$60 per night per and international travel.

Financial Support

AIT Extension does not provide financial assistance, and cannot seek support for individual participants. Applicants are encouraged to seek funding support from their organizations, or from other sources. If applicants meet entry requirements, a letter of acceptance can be provided for purposes of seeking financial support.

Payment

Payment should be made by international bank draft or by bank transfer to the above address. Bank transfer also possible.

Confirmation

Notice of acceptance will be sent to applicants within 15 days of receipt of application. SAF Consultants reserves the right to cancel courses with insufficient enrollment. Applicants will be notified of such cancellation by email or fax at least a month before the date of commencement of the course. In case of course cancellation, SAF Consultants liability is limited to full refund of deposited fees only.

Similarly, cancellations by participants should be received at least four weeks prior to the start of the training course. For later cancellations, a cancellation fee equivalent to 20% of the training fee will be charged.
